Hello everyone! Thank you to those who attended the February 24 meeting. We had a lively topic on American clock restoration. In addition, we discussed and displayed numerous editions of Steven Conover’s series on American clock repair. We even raffled off the book “How to Repair 20 American Clocks” by Steven Conover. Thanks to participation from other members, several American clock movements were on display for others to see. A real standout in the evening, Dave Cooper displayed a marvelous 18th century English bracket clock that he had restored. It was an unbelievable restoration of a fine clock. Nice work Dave!
In compliance with Washington recommendations and NAWCC practices, we won’t be holding a meeting this coming month (March). However I will try to blog a few things to our website to keep folks apprised of what is going on. At this point, we believe the May 2 Workshop will still be held, starting at our usual 9:00am time. The classroom is quite spread out, so it should accommodate us very well in these times.
Stay safe and stay well!
