Emily Griffith Technical College – Clock Repair Class
The Clock Repair Class covers clock disassembly, rebuilding, cleaning, assembly and adjustment. Upon completion of this class, the student will possess the knowledge and techniques to be able to get a job repairing the most common type of mechanical clocks available today.
Chapter 21 and the clock repair class are very interested in sharing the wonderful world of clock and clock repairing. This arrangement shows what a great cooperative community of clock enthusiasts we have. The school helps with enlistment in the NAWCC and Chapter 21 memberships and has helped to produce several good local clock workshops attended by students and Emily Griffith and members of chapter 21.
A Close Relationship between the class and the NAWCC
At least 1/3 of the members of chapter 21 have attended the clock repair class at Emily Griffith Technical College. The relationship goes back many decades.
This area of the website is dedicated to news and information concerning the clock repair class.
The chapter supports a scholarship fund for qualified students. It is called the Margine Oswald Scholarship.
